Workshops and Development
Workshops are all about developing your skills in specific areas. They are set up complement your Diploma Training, and we also welcome technicians that have completed their basic training elsewhere.
We generally accept between 8 and 12 technicians on a workshop (Diploma Training is strictly 1 student to 1 trainer). The format is relaxed but informative, and we include a mixture of classroom and practical instruction.

Those of you who have been in the industry for a while will know that all procedures have their popular times, and their quiet times. For a while now, eyebrow procedures have been really popular - but the next big thing is certainly blusher.
As some of you may have noticed, we have blusher kits on our supplies site - but Blusher is not a new procedure by any means. It's been around for a long time, but it's starting it's resurgence already.
Dermace workshops are open to ALL technicians - regardless of where you have trained in the past. We firmly believe the key to great training is variety, and an open mind.

MCA involves improving the physical appearance of scars, burns, acne scaring, stretch marks and fine lines on the face.
MCA works by inducing a controlled trauma to the affected area. This then encourages the body's natural fluids and collagen back into the area - flattening scars and calming other skin problems.
It's also an ideal add-on treatment for cosmetic technicians with the added bonus of not needing to buy new kit or machines.
We often look upon MCA as a halfway-house between Cosmetic and Medical. You really have the benefit of being able to change people's quality of life with this procedure.

The Correction Specialist workshop has to be the Gold Standard training course at the Dermace Training Academy. This course has been designed to produce the elite technician within our industry and the pledge of Dermace Academy is to promote these technicians in a class of their own.
