More and more councils and local authorities are tightening up their requirements for their registration, and so it's a good time to think about level 4 - even if your council is fairly lenient at this stage. The Dermace VTCT Level 4 in Microblading is a recognised qualification, both in the UK and Worldwide, and is seen as the highest standard you can reach with certification in our industry.
The Dermace VTCT Level 4 also has the added benefit of highlighting you as a highly accredited technician in your area. It can mean more business for you, as clients are drawn to a more qualified technician.
There are currently two options for VTCT Level 4:
The Standard course is ideal for a new starter wanting to jump right in and be a Level 4 technician. You do NOT need Level 3, 2, or 1 to be able to start the course with Dermace - we can advance you straight onto Level 4 due to the comprehensive nature of our training courses. The Standard VTCT Level 4 course takes the syllabus of the Essentials Microblading Course and adds in the VTCT coursework and requirements. Initial training is 3 days and includes a starter kit - followed by VTCT coursework and assessments. Of course, we guide you through the whole process and support you throughout your career.
The Conversion Course is aimed at Technicians that already have a certificate in Microblading. We carry out an induction session with you to get you registered, and guide you through the process in more depth. We also read through the VTCT Booklet with you and explain the assignments and requirements. Our VTCT Specialist will also take a look at your recent work and agree what can be used to submit in your VTCT proposal.
If you're not yet up to standard at any stage of the process, further visits for additional training or reassessment in that area may be required. It will not result in a "fail", just a requirement for additional training and support. As you will know, Dermace offer continual support for the entirety of your career in Semi Permanent Makeup for all our trained techs.
The Micropigmentation Industry is very competitive, so for those wanting to stand out within the industry, the VTCT Level 4 in Micropigmentation will help to achieve this, as well as being recognised by all major insurance companies and council regulatory bodies.
It will show your potential customers that you take their health and safety seriously, and are working in conjunction with all possible regulations for their benefit. You also demonstrate your competence by virtue of the fact that you have completed assessments of your work via various examiners and industry experts - not just your training company. You also earn 36 CPD points once qualified - the highest award in our industry.
Dermace are one of the most prominent advocates of the VTCT qualifications in our industry. We treat your coursework, assessments, and paperwork with the upmost respect and confidentiality.
Being able to display the VTCT badge and logo on your tunic, and also your marketing materials, is seen as a real privilege. Dermace are proud to be involved with such a high-caliber governing body, to take you forward in your career.
